Who the heck are we?
(a.k.a. "Introducing the crew")
Jupe Rantalainen, GM, Designer, Head of the Project
Born in '82, he has been a roleplayer since '92 and gamemastered LARPs since '97. With over 70 events as a GM, he is one of Finland's most experienced gamewriters. Jupe has worked in the danish LARP school, Osterskov Efterskole, and has been part of the international larp scene since Solmukohta 2004. Jupe is the main designer and gamemaster. He also leads the writer team.
Vilhelmine Ozolina, Latvian Contact, Organiser
Vilhelmine came to the project through Solmukohta 2012, as she offered her help to our organisation which was looking for suitable locations in the Baltic Region. As youngest member of our team, she is also the most responsible one, taking care of all the practical stuff in Latvia. We would not be here with out her.
Outi Mussalo, Webmaster, Player Coordinator for Finns
Outi (or Ouva) is one of the younger generation finnish larpers, but has experience as a gamemaster and an organiser from several games. She's the person who updates the website, and holds hands with the finnish players who need assistance or answers to their questions. Also tries to be even a semi-active in the international roleplaying scene. She's been in Solmukohta and Fastaval, and attended European LARP Convention as a member of the finnish delegation..
Mikko Kari, GM, Head of Character Workshopping
Another child of the eighties ('81), Mikko ”Wolven” Kari is accomplished LARP gamemaster and the man behind the most important social event of the finnish roleplaying community for several years running; that is the Ropecon after party, of course. Mikko is the person who you deal with if you wish to design your own character. He has been seen in Solmukohta before and dreams of more international games.
Esa Toivonen, Air Soft Guru
Esa is another semi-old fart from the early eighties. He is a long term air soft and gun hobbyist, and is responsible for all air soft issues; rules, safety and inspection. Also an active larper, Esa understands the needs of both combat oriented and immersionist gamers. He is also an active blogger about larping and air soft stuff, especially in connection to gear, human limits and other organisational issues.
